When I was at my lowest point, I had a ton of brain fog and no energy for anything. It was a struggle just to get through my day. I ate a ton of bread and butter at dinner attempting to fill the gaping hole of self-loathing I had inside me. Then, one day, I decided I had had enough. Something had to change. One of the first things I did was to start eating foods that would heal my body. After a few weeks of this, I realized that I was not only feeling more energy, but my brain was clearer and I started feeling better about myself. I started WANTING to move my body and get out and walk more, to take my bike out for a ride, to get to yoga classes which I love!

Blend 2 cups baby kale or spinach (or both)
1 cup sunflower sprouts or clover sprouts
1 cup fresh orange juice
When they’re blended, add in 2 large stalks celery
1 organic apple
1 cup fresh or frozen mango
The juice of 1/2 lemon
1 cup fresh cucumber
Blend till dmooth.
Makes about 32oz
